About the role

The Adult and Autism team are looking for 2 Social Workers who will promote choice, control and independence, ensuring at all times that the service user is at the centre of this process.
The team are responsible for working with adults with Autism and those who may have eligible care and support needs for other reasons, often associated with a neurodiversity. Our aim is to work progressively with individuals, recognising and building on their talents and abilities, whilst also providing tailored support to eligible needs under the Care Act.

About you
Experience and a willingness to work with partner agencies is vital, as is an understanding of the legal framework surrounding Autism. Knowledge and/or lived experience of Autism or wider neurodiversities would be advantageous.
You must:
- Be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration
- Have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently
