About the role
We are looking for dynamic and passionate Social Work qualified practitioners to join us as Team Managers in Children’s Social Care. These are exciting opportunities as we have a range of roles available within Leaving Care, Family Safeguarding and our Integrated Front Door Teams, meaning we have roles to suit a multitude of experiences.
Our Team Managers think creatively in delivering targeted support and understanding thresholds. The role includes work allocation, performance monitoring, dealing with staffing issues and supporting the training and development of the team.
We pride ourselves on providing Social Workers with a friendly, safe and supportive environment to work in and our Team Managers are vital in this.

About you
We’re looking for confident and dynamic individuals who enjoy making a difference in their local community, are curious and spot things that others might not see, enjoys building relationships and likes to explore possibilities.
You must:
- Be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration
- Have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently
- Have strong leadership skills
- Have experience of child protection systems and processes, court work and working with children who are looked after
- Have knowledge of statutory requirements and local procedures
