About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two qualified Social Workers to join Cambridgeshire County Council’s Continuing Healthcare team.
The successful candidates will work in partnership with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care Board (ICB) and determine individual’s eligibility for NHS Continuing Healthcare through joint completion of the NHS Continuing Healthcare process.
The role is hybrid and once you have a firm understanding of the role you will usually work two days a week in the Huntingdon office and three days from home.
Please note these are permanent Social Worker roles however they are initially funded for 12 months when a review to sustain funding will be completed. If funding is withdrawn the successful candidates will continue to be employed in permanent Social Worker positions within one of our other Adult Social Care Community Teams.

About you
If you:
- Are passionate about Social Justice and NHS Continuing Healthcare
- Are a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
- Hold a full driver’s licence and have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently
- Are willing to learn and be flexible in your approach
