Main Responsibilities

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager – Brand & Creative, the role will be responsible for creating and delivering creative works across both internal and external communications.

 

  • Creative conceptualisation: Develop creative concepts and visual executions that align with the brand, translating these designs into their live environments. Having experience with UX and UI design is desirable, but not essential.
  • Brand consistency: Ensure visual consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all creative materials, maintaining a consistent identity.
  • Multichannel design: Create compelling and engaging visuals across an omnichannel spectrum..
  • Creative direction: Oversee the creative direction of projects including offline and online content. Particularly supporting our Digital Editor with creative communications on our website.
  • Innovative design solutions: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging design technologies to bring fresh and innovative solutions to the table, especially in video advertising.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with multiple teams from around the business to create integrated design solutions that drive business and project objectives.
  • Feedback and revisions: Take on feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve design concepts and materials. Be confident in presenting to stakeholders at all senior levels including our Executive Board.
  • Project management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality. Oversee and feedback on project outsourced by our agencies to ensure consistency of creative output

The Ideal Candidate

  • Substantial, proven experience as a graphic designer preferably within a retail brand, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • You can confidently present to clients and senior stakeholders with clarity and impact.
  • You are comfortable and engaged in meetings and workshops and can challenge a brief to get to the best solution.
  • A strong verbal and written communicator, you are good with people and highly interactive.
  • Experience in creating and editing videos is essential
  • Strong design concepts and the rationale behind them
  • Solid understanding of digital design and animation principles, visual storytelling, and design aesthetics
  • Proven experience in branding and multi-channel campaigns
  • Experienced in performing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experienced in team management is ideal but not essential
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
  • Experience in Animation/Motion Design is desirable
