Are you currently working as an Assistant Cost Manager, looking to work for a national consultancy who can fast-track your career development?

With our continuous growth across Cost Management, we are looking to appoint a forward-thinking and driven Intermediate Cost Manager to be part of our flourishing Cost Management team.

You will be joining our team in London, working across various different projects including heritage building sites, residential, health, education and commercial. Take a look at some of our projects here: Discover our projects – Pick Everard
 
Working closely with the team, you will be assisting with the preparation of cost estimates, cost plans and tender documents. There will also be an opportunity for you to directly liaise with our clients, further strengthening our existing client relationships and ensuring there is high levels of satisfaction across the board. 
 
In your role, you will be providing general support to the cost management team and gain further experience of writing financial reports of construction projects with guidance of senior members of staff. You’ll have the opportunity to attend meetings to assist in providing cost management input, review project progress and present project data. This role provides a challenging and exciting opportunity to develop within growing dynamic team, supported by expertise across our multi-disciplinary consultancy.

About You

Our ideal Intermediate Cost Manager must have:

  • Relevant experience working within a similar role within the construction industry
  • NEC / JCT contract knowledge 
  • A commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience

It would be nice for you to have:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
  • MRICS status or working towards chartership
  • A team player and inquisitive nature
  • Relevant PC skills (Microsoft Office) with ability to develop technical skills
