Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Do you want to work within a supportive team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with an opportunity to develop your generalist HR and OD knowledge?

We are currently looking for an experienced and confident HR Advisor to join us on a fixed term basis (maternity cover). The role will be part time (22.2 hours per week) to be worked over either 3 or 4 days.

In this role you’ll be part of a proactive HR team, you will work closely with the HR and OD Business Partners advising and supporting all levels of management and employees on a whole range of HR activities such as recruitment and onboarding, case work, employee relations, learning and development and much more!  

This is a great opportunity to work across two councils as part of a friendly and forward thinking team.  

About you 

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a Certificate of Personnel Practice or CIPD Foundation Certificate or equivalent or can demonstrate knowledge / ability at an equivalent level 
  • Have a good knowledge of HR legislation
  • Be experienced at HR Advisor level 
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service and performance
  • Have a proactive and solutions focussed approach
  • Proactively support health and wellbeing
