Who have a great opportunity for a Health & Safety Support Officer
You will provide an efficient and professional service to CareTech Community Services Ltd, at all times portraying the Company image to staff and clients, both visually and verbally.
Key Responsibilities:
• To assist in the implementation of the objectives contained in the CareTech Health & Safety Policy
• Signpost or provide staff with basic advice on all aspects of occupational health and safety, including statutory requirements, training, safety policies, safe systems of work, and signposting to appropriate management guidance, escalating complex matters to the Group Head of Health and Safety.
• Support and assist in the implementation and management of all internal audits and assist in producing required audit reports.
• Assist with compliance and legislative requirements, H&S policies & procedures as required.
• Develop and maintains a professional working relationship with the H&S team and all other employees at all levels.
• Assist with Managing H&S team, act as contact and liaise with H&S Risk Assessors/Advisors, and attend meetings as required.
• Performs ad hoc tasks as considered appropriate with the role of a H&S support role.
• Liaise with CareTech Teams where necessary and representatives of other organisations (including the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and other enforcement agencies) on issues connected with Health and Safety
