Overview

Working within Middlesbrough Council, our team helps those experiencing problems with substance use, domestic abuse, and homelessness. We are looking for a passionate, motivated individua to join our non-opiate team as a Caseworker.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of clients with issues around alcohol use and substance use, delivering a range of psychosocial interventions to help clients reach their health and wellbeing goals.

Previous experience and/or knowledge of substance use services would be advantageous but is not essential as a comprehensive training package will be provided. Similarly, previous experience within this field is desirable but not essential. We are looking for transferrable skills such as caseload management, care planning, risk management and previous experience of working with vulnerable clients. This job would be good for those who have previously worked in a support setting. We also welcome those with lived experience.

A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle is required, and you will need business insurance prior to commencing in the role if you do not have this already.
