Overview
We are creating our next generation technology platform and applications through re-usable cloud services. This is being built upon AWS technologies within a micro-services based architecture and an API first approach.
You will be working with a cross-functional team to deliver feature enhancements and maintenance releases to our Cloud Tax products. A key aspect of the role will be coaching the team to facilitate agile ways of working, optimise delivery and foster a generative culture
Responsibilities
- Coach the team to optimise agile delivery
- Promoting and coaching good DevOps practices in order to help the team deploy frequently, reduce lead time and resolve incidents quickly
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives and demos
- RAID management for the team
- Help create a culture based on high cooperation, sharing risks and encouraging growth
- Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed
- Ensure cross-team coordination
- Protecting the team from outside interruptions and distractions
- Help define clear goals for the team
Knowledge and Experience
Experience in Agile delivery
- acting as servant/leader, coaching and empowering Scrum teams
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Good understanding of the software development life cycle
- Track record of successful software delivery
Owning the process of delivering software:
- coach ways of working that foster a secure, quality assured, interative SDLC
- focus on collaboration and quality
- optimise for flow of delivery
Facilitation and leadership in events that support collaboration:
- 3 Amigos
- Backlog refinement
- Scrum of scrums / Dependency management sessions
