Job Description

Are you a seasoned professional in navigating the dynamic world of sports and entertainment partnerships? Publicis Sport & Entertainment is looking for an experienced Account Director to join our team and lead the way in the exciting realm of sponsorships and content.

About Us:
Publicis Sport & Entertainment is a specialist division within Publicis Groupe, trusted by brands and rights holders to navigate the intricacies of sports and entertainment marketing. We're seeking a talented individual to contribute to our success.

The Challenge:
Breaking through the clutter to reach target audiences authentically is no small feat. As an Account Director, you'll play a crucial role in strategising and executing campaigns across various channels in the sports and entertainment landscape.

Our Track Record:
We've successfully partnered with clients like IOC Athlete365 and AXA Liverpool FC. From creating captivating content for the IOC's Athlete365 platform to managing football partnerships for Gillette, our global projects have left a mark.

The Team:

The Clients:
The focus for the role will be on our IOC Athlete365 and AXA Liverpool FC partnership accounts and will involve local and global projects. In addition, time will be allocated across our other clients and could include projects with Gillette, TikTok or Samsung.

The Role:
This role sits within the Consulting side of the business, so you will be the lynchpin between brands, rights holders and the world of sport and entertainment. Your day-to-day at any given time might range from delivering a strategy recommendations for a client looking to reach a specific audience, assisting with a partnership negotiation all the way through to managing talent on a content shoot and working to ensure a campaign is measured and reported effectively.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Data analysis and synthesis for impactful recommendations.
  • Understanding of brand/rights holder value exchanges.
  • Team leadership to drive project success.
  • Ability to present complex ideas effectively.
  • Understanding of the sport and entertainment sector, ideally working in a similar role within a sport marketing agency.

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
