Weighbridge Administrator – Duleek 

We are seeking a reliable and organised individual to join our e-waste team as a Weighbridge Operator & Administrator. This role is primarily administrative and ideal for someone with strong computer skills and attention to detail. You will play a key part in recording and managing all vehicle movements over the weighbridge and supporting the wider team through efficient administrative support.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing as part of the recruitment process.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Accurately record all vehicle movements, including inbound and outbound waste materials.
  • Ensure all data is entered into internal and external waste tracking systems, including:
                       WTF (Waste Transfer Forms) System
                       TFS (Trans frontier Shipment of Waste) System
                        Internal Waste Recording System
                        Client Waste Recording Systems
  • Liaise with drivers, customers, and contractors, ensuring efficient site operations.
  • Handle inbound customer calls and follow up leads from the CRM system.
  • Raise and manage Purchase Orders, process invoices, and carry out general office duties.
  • Maintain and follow internal processes and filing systems.
  • Provide regular waste and compliance reports to colleagues and management.
  • Engage with environmental agencies and ensure compliance with waste legislation.
This is not an exhaustive list.  You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 

  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel and administrative software.
  • Organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Confident communicator with professional telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Experience in waste management, logistics, or a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to learn and use specialist systems such as WTF, TFS, and CRM software.
  • A team player who can also work on their own initiative.
 
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
  • Previous experience in a weighbridge or administrative role within the waste/recycling sector.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance processes and documentation.
