Warehouse Operative (Nightloading) – Best Food Logistics

Location: Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, EN11 0RF

Shift Hours: 40 hrs per week (Working 5 days over 7 on a rolling rota which will include weekends and public holidays 20.00pm – 04.30am)

Salary: £37011, per annum inclusive of allowance

As a Warehouse Operative, the role is not just about picking the right products for delivery, but ensuring our customers get the best service and all products are received in immaculate condition.

Working Hours:

40 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 which may include weekends and public holidays. 20.00pm – 04.30am

  • Ensure all stock is bulked up, shrink-wrapped and loaded correctly, which enables the Driver to unload the vehicle, according to the order of drops
  • Responsible for ensuring that all pallets are securely wrapped and in the correct position before they are loaded onto vehicles, avoiding collision with other pallets or vehicle sides
  • Ensure the manoeuvring of pallets onto the back of a vehicle is at a suitable speed, dependent on the size of the load
  • Keep surrounding area clean and free from obstacles
  • Be aware and comply with all fire safety procedures, including maintaining clear fire exits and escape routes

Health & Safety is vital within this role therefore you will be expected to comply with all requirements of the Health and Safety policy and procedure including safety checks of all equipment before use and wearing Personal Protective Equipment. Safety starts with you!
