Traffic Management Operative – Chelsfield, Kent

FM Conway is looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our Surfacing division.  As our Traffic Management Operative, you will work as part of a team to carry out a range of services including, installing, maintaining and removing traffic management. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, working a mixture of day and night shifts, based from Chelsfield, Kent.

The duties of the Traffic Management Operative role will include:

– Managing the traffic flow, ensuring public are abiding by the TM

– Working closely with management and crews, and taking instructions from the management team

– Ensuring that sites are safe and carrying out on site assessments

– Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency, particularly ensuring the appropriate people are notified

What skills and experience do you need?

To be considered for this role, you must have knowledge of traffic management operations, hold a valid CSCS card, and possess the appropriate LANTRA traffic management tickets, including M1 and M2. These qualifications are essential for carrying out traffic management duties safely and in compliance with industry standards. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
