LEAH – Linking Health and Employment 

The role of Strategic Employment Support – LEAH is to address health inequalities that exist for people who are at risk of long-term unemployment or economic inactivity by establishing pathways for people accessing clinical support/interventions, and others whose health conditions or disability presents a barrier to them accessing employment. You will have experience of managing partnerships and working with people who have barriers to entering or remaining in the labour market, as well as well-developed communication and organisational skills. The post holder will work closely with other Hub services and healthcare services.  

 

About You

Your communication skills will provide you with the ability to develop a range of close partnerships; including other GCC teams, primary care networks, other clinical teams; with the aim of increasing skills base, knowledge, and the opportunities available. Experience of working with a fidelity model e.g.: supported employment knowledge is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. You will be responsible for building an employment support pathway in each district, so access a vehicle is desirable.
