Skilled Operative – Internal Only – Cambridge

Description: ** This is for internal staff only **The Role and About the Person you are looking for:Assist in successfully coordinate the daily tasks of assigned staff or less experienced operatives.Provide timely and effective guidance and support to team membersAccurately interpret task tickets and adjust priorities as needed.Act as a supervisor during the absence of the Team LeaderMentor new team members or apprenticesStreet Cleaning: Sweep, collect, and remove litter and debris.Grounds Maintenance: Perform planting, pruning, and other maintenance tasks.Waste Management: Empty litter bins, segregate recyclables, and report littering issues. Waste to include human & animal faeces, drug related paraphernalia & dead animals.Graffiti and Vandalism Removal: Assist in removal using appropriate tools.Grazing Management: Liaising with graziers, allocating grazing, checking stock, fitting collars, checking fencing and water troughs and answering public questions.Burial Preparation: Marking out, preparing and digging burial plots for burials and cremated internments as required.
