An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Newcastle College as a Schools Liaison and Transition Coordinator, working within the busy and vibrant Education Partnerships and Marketing Team.
As a Schools Liaison and Transition Coordinator you will be responsible for the delivery of engaging and meaningful advice and guidance to young people, offered externally through schools and careers organisations. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the College, as well as external partners, you will create and deliver engaging and inspirational activities and student experiences that support student recruitment and progression to further study. In addition, you will support the Education Partnerships and Events Manager in cultivating positive relationships with local schools and associated organisations, and championing Newcastle College as a great place to study, at internal and regional events.
This is a fast-paced and sociable role, and the successful candidate will be outgoing, creative, and have a passion for working with and inspiring young people. You will have a clear understanding of the Newcastle College curriculum and be confident in networking, presenting, and working with people of all ages, both one-to-one and in larger groups. Importantly, you’ll be a team player but be self-motivated and confident when working alone.
This post will require flexibility, with frequent travel across the region and working outside of normal working hours.
