Dudley Street is a care home for up to a maximum of 8 service users supporting Learning and Physical disabilities. The home aims to make every day better for service users. Identifying achievable goals. CareTech offers a service that encourages people to develop their levels of independence and choice in a holistic way, which takes account of the whole person. We are currently rated overall GOOD with CQC.
As a Nurse, you’ll work with like-minded colleagues, as part of a multi-disciplinary in-house team, to provide the highest standards of nursing care for our residents. You’ll work in a close team and build good working relationships with the people you support – so you’ll be able to see the difference you make each and every day.
The role will involve caring for adults with Learning and Physical Disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity within a highly specialised field for the right nurse to join our busy team and enjoy new challenges in a fully supported role.
The desired requirements:
Experienced RGN,RN or RNLD with a current PIN
Skilled in general nursing with the ability to prioritise effectively
Willingness to embrace new learning
Compassionate advocate for patients with learning and physical needs
To promote a therapeutic environment aligned to ordinary living
Ability to write comprehensive care plans and reports
Confident in problem solving
Be patient centric and have a commitment to delivering high quality care
Possess fine-tuned decision making skills
Have an excellent organisational capacity and effective communication skills
Be flexible and have a strong "can do" attitude
