Join our forward-thinking Building Control
team at 3C Shared Services Building Control, where we lead the
way in delivering high-quality, customer-focused building control
services to one of the UK's most vibrant cities and surrounding
areas. 
 
In this role, you
will;

Have the opportunity to manager a
diverse and exciting portfolio of construction projects,
ranging from heritage sites to cutting-edge developments.
Ensure compliance with building
regulations and statutory requirements, and working with
homeowners, developers, architects, and contractors.
Carry out inspections and assessments
across various stages of construction, with a focus on safety,
energy efficiency, and sustainability. 
Build strong relationships with
stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner in achieving their
project goals while safeguarding public interest. 
Play a key role in mentoring junior
staff and contributing to team-wide improvements and
innovation.

Huntingdonshire District, South Cambridgeshire District Council,
and Cambridge City Council. Together, we deliver resilient,
high-quality building control services across a diverse region.

About you
We are seeking an experienced and
enthusiastic professional who shares our passion for excellence
in building control. you will bring;

Registration with the Building Safety
Regulator s a Building Inspector Class 2
Strong knowledge of building
regulations, including fire safety, accessibility, and energy
performance. 
Proficiency in examining Principal
Designers' plans, conducting site inspections, compiling
detailed reports, and maintaining accurate records.
A proven ability to manage projects and
deliver outstanding customer service.
Competency to work independently.
Excellent communication, problem-solving
and negotiation skills. 

A full UK driving
license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, s
you will be require to travel across our partnership
area.

Hours: This is a
full-time role, for 37 hours per week. Although the role is
advertised as full-time, if you believe you have the skills and
experience to join us and would like to discuss different working

Contract: Permanent
 
Salary: *GBP*40,476 –
*GBP*45, 781 per annum (City Pay Band 6), pro rata for part time.
 
Location: This is
flexible – working on site or at one of our offices (Huntingdon,
Cambourne and Cambridge) or working from home. You will be able
to balance our work location accordingly.
