Our newly formed Centre of Clinical Expertise (CoCE) provides clinical insight and guidance and builds credibility with clinical audiences on behalf of Macmillan, so we’re seen as a trusted, relevant, and up to date, clinically informed organisation.

About you
We are looking for a Nursing or AHP Clinical Adviser to join our Centre of Clinical Expertise team. To do this role, you will have qualification and continued registration as a nurse or AHP; extensive experience in active clinical practice; and will need to remain embedded in clinical practice. You will also need to be able to fulfil the required sessional commitment per week and have flexibility with sessional commitments to fulfil the aims of the role.

You will act as a subject matter expert drawing on clinical skills and experience to support, service and guide internal programmes of work as required, as well as providing clinical leadership, insight, knowledge and expertise on cancer care across settings, along with an understanding of the health and social care landscape from a national perspective to Macmillan.

The role will involve leading the development of thinking focussed on the contribution and potential of cancer nursing and AHP roles within primary care.

You will feed clinical insight to key internal stakeholders, including the Clinical Advisers embedded in Macmillan’s UK Partnerships division, to inform relevant workplans, and advise on the development of strategic programmes of work across the organisation to support the achievement of our desired outcomes for people living with cancer.

This is an exciting opportunity, and we’d love to hear from you if you are interested in this position.
