Salary: £23,576 – £24,819 per annum pro rata
Various hours available Hours Per Week and Part Time
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7RW
Newcastle College require a dedicated, enthusiastic and qualified person to take on the role of Instructor in the Adult ESOL department.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
To instruct adult ESOL learners, using a variety of methods in workshop and digilab sessions
To work with the ESOL team to develop learners' English and support continuous improvement activities
To work with the ESOL team to develop resources for learners from Pre Entry level to Level 2
To contribute to strategies to improve student achievement, attendance and retention.
The candidate must hold a CELTA or other ESOL related teaching qualification.
An ability to self-manage workload, meet deadlines alongside strong oral and written communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.
