 We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our HR Team based at our Windsor office, the role will initially be in the office fulltime until you’ve completed your induction then we can move to a hybrid role of a minimum 3 days per week and maximum of 2 days working from home. Please note the role is not a remote role and does require office attendance.
 
Your role will be to support all payroll administration changes and onboarding with a strong emphasis on compliance. You will support with end to end processes such as onboarding starters, payroll changes, maintaining records, systems and reports. This is a fast paced role so HR admin processing experience is needed. 

HR Administrator – Windsor

Department: HR & Recruitment Team 

Reports to: Recruitment Team Leader and/or Head of Resourcing

Key Responsibilities 

    • Support the end-to-end onboarding process for all new starters across the group using our ATS, from offer acceptance through to start date.  Conduct all compliance checks including right to work, DBS, references, medical questionnaires, and overseas worker documentation.
    • Own candidate onboarding progress achieving KPI’s such as time to hire, weekly starters, compliance etc.
    •  Prepare and issue contracts to offered candidates. Please note we have multiple companies and contracts so a clear understanding of terms and conditions is essential.
    •  Maintain your own and a shared inbox, responding to queries and actions within agreed SLAs, escalating where required.
    •  Support with HR system administration and ensure data is accurately maintained for HR and payroll processing.
    •  Transfer all new starter information to payroll in a timely and compliant manner to meet payroll deadlines.
    • Process reference requests, and onboarding documentations in line with compliance with safer recruitment and data protection standards. Checking candidates employment history including gaps and date discrepancies.
    •  Keep up to date with legislative and policy changes impacting recruitment, and onboarding processes.
    •  Build and maintain effective working relationships across all divisions, providing professional and responsive HR support and attend weekly regional recruitment update calls.  
    • Ensure all onboarding and HR activities are delivered in line with safeguarding and safer recruitment best practices for children and vulnerable adults. 

About You 

    • Experience in onboarding (essential). 
    • Resilience and ability to hold your own in meetings with managers and directors – confident in your ability.
    •  Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively. 
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safeguarding.
    •  Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels. 
    • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and HR systems (ATS/HRIS). 
    • Team player who can work independently while supporting the wider HR team.
