Overview

The Plymouth Day Opportunities family are recruiting!

Plymouth Day Opportunities provides support to young people and adults with a range of physical disabilities, learning disabilities and complex health needs across Plymouth. Helping people to care for themselves, live independently make friends and live a meaningful life is at the heart of what we do.

What do we do here? We support Laura who loves cooking and learning new skills, Richard, who is keen on fitness, Shirley who loves going out on the bus and visiting the aquarium- and much more! From pasty making to baking and enjoying our outdoor area and getting out and about, along with educational programmes there’s no shortage of fun to be had together.

If you’re looking for a meaningful way to spend your day, then we have the perfect role for you.
Kirsty, Support Worker at Plymouth Day Opportunities, said: “I feel supported by my colleagues and management. I get to work with a variety of individuals we support daily and build positive meaningful relationships to enhance a person's health and well-being. Seeing how the individuals we support grow in confidence, independence by accessing a service which promotes inclusion and equality is such a rewarding element of the role.”

This isn’t really a job, it’s more of a lifestyle where you get to spend your days helping others to enjoy theirs. Get in touch if you want to love the life you live too!
