Searcys are looking for an Event Floor Manager to join the team at the Inner Temple.

As the Event Floor Manager, you will ensure the effective management and efficient service of the catering operation at the Inner Temple. You will be responsible for the execution of a wide range of internal and external events, including banquets, drinks parties, weddings and garden parties.

The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London. That teamed with its surroundings of a three-acres a stunning garden, it offers a unique backdrop to a wide variety of events

Job Description

Salary: £31,500, plus overtime and enhanced holiday

Hours: 40 hours per week

Key responsibilities:

  • To be detail driven and ensure that all food and beverage offerings are presented to the highest standard.
  • To oversee the operations of weekday serviced lunch operation in our Hall and manage the team to ensure only the highest standards are provided.
  • To manage the opening and closing duties for the catering operation.
  • To brief teams at the start of each service and event.
  • To be confident in communications with valued guests, senior figures, different departments and members of the management team.
  • To support with the training and development of the Front of House team.



Qualifications

  • Strong experience within a Supervisor or Junior Manager role within a similar environment.
  • Experience conducting briefings.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly developed attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast-pace, prioritising different tasks.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Supportive team player.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable for summer events).
