About the role
What will you be doing?
- Identifying individuals at risk of homelessness and managing a caseload to provide tailored support.
- Offering advice and guidance on housing options, income maximisation, and financial support.
- Building trusted relationships with clients to empower them to sustain their accommodation.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners including social care, public health, and voluntary organisations.
- Supporting clients with employability, training, and education opportunities.
- Conducting home visits and maintaining accurate case records.
About you
- A compassionate communicator who can adapt to different audiences and build rapport.
- Have a strong knowledge of housing legislation, benefits systems, and local support services.
- Experienced in working with vulnerable individuals, including those with complex needs.
- Have the ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
- Proficient in Office 365 and willing to learn new systems.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
