Our CustomerService Advisers give Skipton Building Society its voice by being the firstport of call for our new and existing customers. This isn’t thesort of role where you can take a back seat. When you’re not on the phoneanswering a variety of queries regarding mortgages or savings you’ll be lookingfor your next task. There will be expectations to meet and quality is ourpriority but because we care about our customers we won’t rush you to finishthe call. While it can be a full on role you will have great support from yourteam. As well as excellent training and development, regular feedback andquality time with your leader, you will also have the opportunity to tell ushow things are going with you.
There are over200 people within our contact centre and you’ll be joining a team of up to 15people that work together to create a high performing environment. We arelooking for enthusiastic, resilient and positive people who are motivated byproviding an excellent customer journey. Knowledge of financial services is notneeded but you will be expected to grab theopportunity to learn it with bothhands and use it to help your customers.
Experienceworking with customers is advantageous and you will be expected to work withbasic IT systems as well. The successful candidate will be willing to work on ashift basis including some evening and Saturday morning work.
