Overview

Reporting into the Operations Director for a fast-paced multi-site cleaning contract, The role of Compliance Manager will work within our dynamic London division. The Compliance Manager will be a visible lead, ensuring compliance with client standards and legislative obligations whilst driving the continuous improvement of health and safety throughout the business. The Compliance Manager will provide hands on advice, support and guidance on all matters of legal compliance regarding Auditing and Health and Safety compliance.

As Compliance Manager you’ll be:

  • Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
  • Contributing to the ISO14001 and 9001 integrated management systems along with OHSAS 18001
  • Carrying out regular site visits and inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
  • Undertaking risk reviews on site ensuring that all activities are recorded and are on site.
  • Preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policy.

As Compliance Manager you’ll have:

  • Previous compliance experience, ideally within the FM or public sector
  • An excellent understanding working within a fast paced, high turnover low margin organisation
  • Ideally hold qualifications in IOSH and BICS
  • The ability to organise and prioritise workload  
  • Uses own initiative and can work independently
  • Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint capability

Vetting

For this role you require to go through the Metropolitan Police vetting process level NPPV2 (CTC) clearance
