We are looking for someone to provide administrative support to the central team responsible for purchasing end-of-life vehicles (ELV) and working with the regional ELV teams to ensure vehicles are delivered and processed in a timely manner. 

  • Updating contracts and checking agreed pricing​
  • Requesting information from new customers​ where required to ensure organised collection/ drop off and swift payment
  • Receiving requests from customers and booking collections from around the UK​ using internal teams or systems
  • Management of team emails and telephone queries​
  • Daily checks of purchasing information​
  • Ad-hoc administration tasks 
  • Previous experience of working in a busy office environment​
  • Good IT skills are required e.g. excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook​
  • Experience in dealing with customers ​including members of the public
  • Must be able to respect the confidentiality of customer and supplier account information​
  • Must be able to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines ​
  • Must be able to work as a part of a team, and also alone using your own initiative​
  • Good listening, written and verbal communication skills (Essential) ​
  • Very strong attention to detail, especially with regards to the processing of bank details
  • Should be able to learn quickly about the business and have a willingness to learn and progress
