  • £28,000 per annum 
  • 5 out of 7 days per week

Jockey Club Catering was formed in 2009 to provide outstanding catering and hospitality at all of The Jockey Club’s racecourses nationwide. With a portfolio of 15 racecourses, Jockey Club Catering delivers exceptional race day experiences over 333 race days a year through great people and amazing customer service.

More about the role:

  • Assist in the preparation and production of high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards
  • Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring timely and efficient food preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu development, food costing, and inventory management
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to quality and consistency

About you:

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques and a strong understanding of culinary fundamentals
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
