Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially savvy Business Analyst with a passion for data and retail. This role is critical in driving data-informed decisions across our business, helping to shape strategy, improve customer experience, and identify growth opportunities.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for undertaking analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the product or programme lifecycle.
This will require a hands-on approach, combined with strong technical and data acumen and excellent stakeholder management, to drive engagement and measures such as OKRs, whilst building strong trust-based partnerships with colleagues and suppliers. You will drive collaborations between technical functions to deliver shared goals. A key attribute will be to motivate others to foster a mindset of continuous improvement across people, process, and technology.

What you’ll do
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business, translating business needs into compelling user stories and requirements for more complex Data Products and Programmes.
- Lead the requirements gathering process, working closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, define project scope, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Be the bridge between the business and the technical teams to ensure the business objectives are met
- Map and analyse current business processes to identify inefficiencies or gaps which can leverage data to create operational effectiveness or sales growth
- Deliver best in class Data Cataloguing and curation, and ensure that Data Quality requirements are input into the product lifecycle.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.

- Experience leading business requirements and analysis within the data realm
- An eye for the detail, and an exceptional written and oral communicator.
- Passionate about quality of data deliverables, while supporting a fast time to value.
- You will be working across varied stakeholder groups, bridging their requirements with our technical teams delivery.
- Deliver best in class Data Cataloguing and curation, and ensure that Data Quality requirements are input into the product lifecycle.
