We are looking for a compassionate and professional individual to join our Business Leader Deborah Leah, and her dedicated team as an Administrator at St Faith’s Crematorium. 

As an Administrator, you will be at the core of our business and the service we deliver within the community. You will be responsible for liaising directly with Funeral Directors and Ministers, ensuring any specific requests from the family regarding the chapel set-up are carried out.

This is a part-time permanent position working 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday 13:00pm – 17:00pm, with an annual salary of £12,688. 

What will I be doing?

  • As an administrator, you will ensure that all administration relating to the Crematorium & the cemetery are accurately completed.
  • Assist with memorials sales enquires from clients and Funeral Director’s.
  • Preparation of banking, client invoices, collate petty cash returns and supporting with credit control duties.
  • Inputting the cremation and burial paperwork and other records onto our bespoke online/computer system to comply with Industry regulations. 
  • Maintaining confidentiality when processing legal burial and cremation documents
  • Booking funerals via the phone, emails and face to face interaction with clients.
  • Preparation of all documentation to facilitate the daily operation of the crematorium.
  • Maintain accurate records to comply with industry regulations 
  • Liaise with Funeral Directors, Ministers and families/clients ensuring that any specific requests are inputted in the database regarding services that are carried out.

What Do I Need?

  • 2+ years previous administration experience 
  • Enjoy working as part of a team in a friendly on plan office environment
  • Computer literate in addition to experience using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, and Excel) 
  • Proactive approach and willingness to communicate effectively with a range of people, both in-person, over the phone and via email.
