We are looking for a Category Lead to oversee and drive performance of our Amazon 1P business across up to 10 European markets, including the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on delivering Amazon performance within a category-led organization.
You will be responsible for leading the Amazon channel within the category, working closely with internal stakeholders and Amazon to deliver against agreed commercial targets.
What you’ll be doing
- Own performance of the Amazon 1P channel across multiple EMEA markets within the category
- Lead the development and execution of the Amazon Joint Business Plan (JBP), aligned to category strategy
- Work directly with Amazon on trading relationships, including promotions, investment discussions, and operational planning
- Lead promotional strategy across Amazon, including Prime Day, Deal of the Day, Lightning Deals, and seasonal peaks
- Ensure strong product content standards across all markets (titles, imagery, A+ content, and listing optimization)
- Work with supply chain to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize lost sales on Amazon
- Analyze Amazon Vendor Central data and translate insights into commercial actions and recommendations
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of four responsible for Amazon execution and support
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver category performance targets
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience managing Amazon Vendor Central (1P) or similar eCommerce trading platforms across multiple European markets
- Proven experience delivering Joint Business Plans and trading with Amazon
- Strong understanding of Amazon promotional levers and platform mechanics
- Experience leading a small team in a commercial or eCommerce environment
- Strong analytical capability with ability to turn data into commercial decisions
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple markets simultaneously
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management experience (marketing, supply chain, finance)
- Experience in footwear, apparel, or lifestyle categories is an advantage
- Working pattern: 4 days in office (office-based role)
