As a Brand Marketing Manager for branded Fashion & Sports, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our 140-year-old brand M&S for today and the future. In this role you will be part of the team that aims to inspire, drive style and drive long-term customer acquisition across our third party brands business, as well as our total Sports category including our own-brand, Goodmove. You hold a pivotal role in driving the identity, values, and messaging to key target audiences for our “Brands at M&S” business. You’re tasked with developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to amplify brand awareness, foster customer engagement, drive customer acquisition and boost sales.

What you will do:
- Responsible for brand marketing plan for branded Fashion & Sports at M&S; focussing across on the key areas of strategy, holistic campaign management, media planning (both ALT and BTL) content creation & social storytelling
- You play a pivotal role in laying down the annual strategic focusses for Fashion & Sports, working closely with Marketing Planning team to develop the overarching activity plan for Brands at M&S, ensuring key representation alongside own-label Fashion, Home & Beauty.
- Work closely with the relevant Business Units to align on weekly & monthly product focusses & customer stories to translate into an activity calendar which will drive always-on buzz for the categories you work across
- Alongside your team, you are responsible for driving awareness, consideration & positive customer perceptions, as well as customer acquisition & retention targets, across branded Fashion & the total Sports category at M&S – including our own-brand, Goodmove
- Lead, develop & inspire two assistant marketing managers
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
- Proven track record in brand marketing roles within the retail, fashion, or consumer goods domain.
- Demonstrated proficiency in orchestrating integrated marketing campaigns across diverse channels; with a thorough understanding of owned & earned media mix – not limited to VOD, BVOD, OOH, Radio, Social Media, Influencers, PR, CRM, Ecom & Loyalty platforms
- A creative visionary with a strong passion for customer storytelling & brand elevation
- Exemplary leadership skills; effectively manage multiple projects, quipped to foster cross-functional collaboration as well coach and develop team members on a day-day basis
