We’re looking for a Fresh & Frozen Category Manager to lead the strategic development of our Fresh Food Category within the International Food Business. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on identifying market opportunities, shaping product vision, and driving sales and profitability across our global channels. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative, high-quality products that resonate with customers and elevate our brand across all channels!

NB: Although this role is based at our Paddington Support Office a minimum of three days a week some overseas travel will be required to either our Distribution Centres in the UK or internationally.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • End to End commercial responsibility for planning and deliver on budgets for Fresh & Frozen across all year round ranges and seasonal products
  • Commercial lead on our Freeze Defrost range working and discussing terms with M&S suppliers, our incredible Food tech team and our partners to deliver a sustainable fresh offer
  • Lead the day-to-day product relationship with the Franchise Partners through effective commercial management and excellent communication
  • Define and implement the optimised fresh offer for each of our international channels
  • Work closely with our supply chain and logistics team (inc 3PL) to manage our Fly Fresh operation
  • Agree partner-specific trade plans, which are in line with our food strategy and are consistent and relevant as possible across our Franchise Partners. Working closely with the Supply Chain Team to drive availability and waste performance within our Franchise Partners

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Commercially focused with strong P&L management and strategic decision-making capabilities
  • A confident communicator who can convey ideas and points of view in a compelling and engaging manner. With the ability to influence and adjust their style in line with their audience
  • A collaborative approach who enjoys working as part of a team and can effectively build relationships both internal and external
  • A Data-driven approach, confident in analysing insights to inform category strategy and performance.
  • Industry knowledge, ideally within the food sector and familiarity with systems and tools used within Category Management
